FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is a footprint necessary with this tent?
The Telos Plus features a very waterproof (4000mm) floor, so it can be used in wet conditions without a footprint.
How is a PeU coating different from a PU coating?
PeU coatings are ether-based. They are much less susceptible to hydrolysis (which is when a urethane coating absorbs moisture and becomes soft or 'sticky', often in storage), so they're better for rainflys and tent floors.
Does '3+ seasons' mean it can handle snow?
While the Telos tent is designed for use up to the end of shoulder seasons, it's not built to withstand heavy snow loads and should be guyed out in winds above 20 mph.
